SLIP HOUSE

I have recently been watching a couple of Channel 4 "Grand Designs" episodes on youtube, which are about exceptional architecture in the UK. I am generally interested in sustainable design and small space architecture, so was especially delighted when I found out about the "SLIP HOUSE" (watch the episode here). It was built by Carl Turner and his wife Mary Martin in an attempt to create a hugely minimal and low-energy living and working space. The outside reminds me a bit of container housing and personally, I am not sure, if I could live in such a minimalistic space, yet it was interesting watching the building process and I seriously admire the detail, precision and quality that shows in the end result.

A personal favourite was the Penguin Classics collection hidden behind a sleek, white front :)
